Easter in the Shearing Shed
25 - 28 March 2016

Exhibiting over the four days of Easter, in the home farm's shearing shed, I am sharing my love of Aussie coastal/farming life through visual art. With so many media to use, who could choose just one?!

So, I have used pastels, water soluble oils, acrylics, inks, pencils, encaustic and porcelain paints to reflect an eclectic range of subjects.             Visitors are invited to come and see a real shearing shed, a colection of art, and maybe have a cuppa while talking to me, the artist.

OPEN 10am - 4pm, Good Friday, Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter                                     Monday.

142 Wildwood Road, Carbunup River.

Plenty of parking, family friendly and REAL.

I have been involved with this art venture since its beginning, with the last year and this, exhibiting in my own gallery space, in the home farm's shearing shed. Although I don't paint here all year round, I thoroughly enjoy the two weeks of Open Studios, and stealing a little shed time for my artistic pursuits.

The farm and coastal life is who I am, and figures prominently in what I paint and portray.

I will have my shed open from 10am till 4pm, Wednesday through to Sunday, 9 April to 24 April, and Tuesdays by appointment.

There is plenty of parking space, a family friendly atmosphere, a cuppa, and art to interest everyone.

VASSE ART AWARD 2016

The Vasse Art Award is now biennial. I have been exhibiting in this since 2013. I love the huge diversity of art and appreciators that it draws.

This painting in acrylic is box framed and ready to hang, "Brood Mares and Foals". See it at the exhibition which runs from 9 April to 16 April, or, if your luck holds (and mine doesn't), at my shed during the second week of Open Studios.

I will also have a 27cm round porcelain painted plate, featuring native animals entered...so...

check it all out at the Vasse Primary School, Kaloorup Road, just off the Bussell Hwy in Vasse.
